Clinical Nurse Manager

Clinical nurse managers are registered Nurses (RGN, RCN, RNID) who have at least 3-5 years post graduate experience and who have the ability to manage other nurses and their workloads efficiently.
Maintaining a safe environment for the clients and the healthcare staff is a priority for our Clinical Nurse Managers . The Clinical Nurse Manager must have good people management skills and be able to respond to changing clients’ needs and the availability of appropriately trained staff to ensure the continuity of safe patient care.
The CNM may have leadership experience or training and will have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Professional / clinical leadership that promotes efficiency, innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement
- Supervision of qualified and unqualified staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment
- Provision of continuing nursing education on all staff and participation in teaching, guidance and assessment of staff
- Provision of High quality clinical learning environment
- Compliance with Health and Safety regulations and all company policies and procedures
