Meet The Team
We are here to help!
Paul Caskey
Managing Director
I bring 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 5 years as the Managing Director at Bluebird Care. Before that, I spent 20 years working in Marketing and Business Consultancy.
I take great pride in the difference our team makes in the community, particularly in supporting the elderly to remain in the comfort of their homes and maintain their independence in the Dublin South West area. This success is thanks to the dedication of our exceptional carers and the invaluable contributions of our office staff.
Tara Ryan
Human Resources & Operations
I started out working in a hair salon, where I enjoyed helping elderly regulars. It was wonderful to see their smiles after a haircut and chat over a cup of tea. I also worked as a receptionist, but after taking the Care Support course at Liberties College, I discovered my true passion for caregiving. I became a carer and loved making a difference in my clients' lives. When I got the chance to work in the office at Bluebird Care, it inspired me to complete my IBAT HR Management Diploma. I have also completed my level 6 diploma in Employment Law at Open College. I’ve now been with Bluebird Care for nearly 3 years!
Sylwia Zajac
Care Manager
I studied nursing in Poland from 1990 to 1995 and worked as a nurse in an intensive care ambulance. From 2001 to 2008, I managed a surgery department in Poland before moving to Ireland in 2008. In Ireland, I spent 11 years as a care assistant in home care and nursing homes. Between 2013 and 2022, I worked as a receptionist at a GP office while also working as a care assistant on the side. In 2022, I completed my bachelor's degree in nursing and worked in a day centre for the elderly and in recruitment. In July 2023, I started as a care supervisor at Bluebird Care and was promoted to Care Manager just a month later.
Sinead Morgan Kelly
Care Coordinator
I started my journey working as an after-school assistant 16 years ago, helping children in a primary school. I loved organizing activities and after-school clubs, and nothing made me happier than seeing the kids smile. Although I initially wanted to pursue a career in social care, the opportunity wasn’t available, so I shifted to healthcare, which I soon discovered I was passionate about. I began working at a day centre for the elderly, where I developed a deep interest in dementia, gerontology, and understanding how the mind works. I enjoyed listening to the elderly share stories about their lives.
At the day centre, I held several roles including healthcare assistant, activities coordinator, and bus assistant. When COVID-19 hit and the day centre had to shut down, I joined the BBC to support the elderly and the community during those challenging times. I worked as a carer for three years before moving into an admin position for a few months. I was then promoted to coordinator, a role I've been dedicated to for just over a year now.

I spent three years working in the beauty industry, most of my clients were elderly, and I loved helping them feel good about themselves. My passion for caregiving grew from taking care of my mum over the years. I joined Bluebird Care in 2021 as a carer and I worked in this role until 2022, it was amazing to see the difference I could make in someone’s life. Since then, I've been working in Recruitment and Administration, and I truly love this new position.
